NDIR CO2 analysers (IRGA) for life science research, environmental monitoring and industrial applications covering gas phase CO2 concentrations from 0-2000 ppm; high CO2 Analyser models (0-10% CO2) available. Whether stand-alone or integrated into gas exchange and control systems, the reliable IRGAs will meet your requirements. CO2 analysers in the range 0 to 2000 ppm carbon dioxide include:
Q-S157 CO2 Analyser, a single channel, flow-through, non-dispersive infrared CO2 analyser (IRGA) that measures CO2 in the range of 0 to 2000 ppm with a resolution of 1 ppm. The device is ideal for stand-alone CO2 exchange measurements with leaves, insects, small animals or organisms with low metabolic rates. It can also be used to measure soil respiration and for environmental monitoring. The Q-S157 is available as a (stand-alone) CO2 IRGA with
All three versions of the Q-S157 feature temperature control of the rugged carrying case, making it ideal for field use.
The Q-S157 CO2 analyser can be used to monitor CO2 levels in greenhouses and growth chambers. It is rugged and portable for use in the laboratory or in the field (with optional battery pack). The analyser can be used in a flow-through gas exchange configuration for instantaneous and continuous measurements of CO2 exchange. It can also be used in injection mode with a septum to measure CO2 levels, e.g. in collected whole air samples. For measurements of minimal changes in CO2 levels, the analyser can be used in stop flow or closed system mode. The Q-S157 can be used as part of CO2 Control Systems in growth cabinets or other chambers. We recommend using the Q-S157 with Qubit supplied data interface and software (optional), but other data acquisition systems 0-5 V can also be used.

Q-S151 CO2 Analyser, a non-dispersive infrared CO2 analyser (IRGA) that measures from 0 to 2000 ppm with a resolution of 1 ppm. The reliable technology is robust and modular for easy integration into the Q-Box packages or for stand-alone use. The Q-S151 is ideal for CO2 exchange measurements with leaves, insects, small animals or organisms with low metabolic rates. It is also excellent for in situ measurements of ecosystem or soil respiration in the field and in the laboratory.
This CO2 analyser can be used in a flow-through system configuration for instantaneous and continuous measurements of CO2 production or consumption. It can also be used in a closed system mode for measurements at extremely low activity levels. The Q-S151 CO2 analyser can be set up for use in injection mode, where small samples of CO2 gas are injected into a carrier gas flowing past the CO2 sensor to measure CO2 levels in the headspace of collected samples. Applications include photosynthesis measurements, respiration of roots and soil samples, respirometry of insects and other invertebrates, headspace analysis of cell cultures, and atmospheric monitoring and carbon dioxide control systems. Almost all gas analysers can be operated in an injection mode, where the small gas aliquots to be analysed are injected into a carrier gas stream with a syringe or similar device for subsequent analysis. The example shows the setup for the Q-S151 CO2 analyser. Whole air samples for injection can be collected automatically using the VSI AS-100 Air Sampler. Get in contact!
For parallel measurement of CO2 and O2 in the gas phase with a single analyser, consider the CO2 and O2 analyser.
For applications requiring multiplexing of 4 to 8 channels, gas switching systems are available for open or stop flow modes.
