Affordable, research-grade gas analysers go custom - Qubit Systems for bespoke VSI gas flow measurement systems
We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Qubit Systems Canada - allowing us to combine affordable, reliable, research-grade gas analyser systems with customised solutions for animal respirometry, plant respiration and photosynthesis, and soil CO2 and methane efflux measurements. Qubit's gas analysers and multiplexing systems complement Vienna Scientific's product portfolio to create unique, customised systems for gas analysis and air sampling.
Our expanded product portfolio now includes:
- Ecosystem respiration chamber or BVOC chamber systems with matched gas analysers and multiplexing capabilities
- CO2 analysers in the range up to 2000 ppm or extended CO2 range up to 10% CO2
- Oxygen analysers, gas phase (also DOX)
- Combined CO2 and O2 gas-phase measurements
- Methane analysers, e.g. for monitoring soil efflux and fermentation processes
- Low-level Hydrogen analyser
The gas phase systems are ready for use in the field or can be combined with gas channel switching devices for reproducible, convenient HT laboratory analysis. Pressure sensors and gas regulators match the gas analysers, allowing fully customised settings. Gas mixing and gas concentration control systems, including convenient software, allow the creation and maintenance of stable environmental conditions within respiration and plant incubation / isotope labelling chambers.
Several systems are available for dissolved carbon dioxide and oxygen analysis. For example, the rapid response DCO2 system Q-DCO2-RR enables CO2 and O2 measurements on aquatic animals. The Q-OX1LP system uses polarographic electrodes to detect small changes in dissolved oxygen concentration on submerged roots, algae etc. Finally, versatile interfaces and integrated gas analysis software solutions maximise control and ease of data recording and analysis.
Ready to use Q-Box Systems are available for instant measurements but are modular, allowing to expand the systems with further analysers and capabilities as research foci change. Research Packages include:
